Luminary Research Archive
About the Archive
Open research. A permanent scholarly record.
Purpose and scope
Luminary Research Archive is an independent, multidisciplinary pre-publication journal for author-published work in mathematics, science, technology, and the humanities. It provides access to manuscripts and the supporting materials supplied by their authors.
Preprints and editorial screening
Preprints are manuscripts made available before formal peer review. Editorial screening addresses suitability, required information, and publication readiness. Acceptance for posting does not certify a result, validate a proof, or constitute external peer review.
Subjects and paper types
Each classified paper has a primary subject, an optional subject subfield, a paper type, and a manuscript stage. A paper’s subject describes its area of inquiry; its type describes the work itself. An edition number identifies a preserved version and is separate from preprint status.
Editions and corrections
Each posted edition retains its dated record, citation, and permanent link. Classification corrections are recorded separately from manuscript revisions. Withdrawn records retain their history and notice; access to withdrawn or privacy-sensitive files may be restricted.
Authors and readers
Authors manage drafts, submissions, and editorial correspondence through Account Research. Readers can cite individual editions, contribute to moderated public discussions, or send private questions and proposed corrections from the paper’s page. Public contributions identify the edition discussed; authors can respond and submit revisions as new editions. Authors remain responsible for their claims, disclosures, and supplied materials.
Access and reuse
Manuscripts are available to read without an account. Reuse permissions are stated for each edition; open access alone does not grant permission to redistribute software, data, or other materials under different terms.
