The note classifies two auxiliary permanental cofactor comparisons:
sharp constant one at orders one and two, and no finite universal
constant at any fixed complex order at least three. The counterfamilies
are dense positive definite correlation matrices. This is not a
counterexample to Chollet's inequality or a solution of that conjecture.
The classical roots-of-unity mechanism is attributed in the paper.

The proof is analytic; no numerical data or computational certificate
is required to establish the theorem. AI assistance is disclosed in the
manuscript. The manuscript names Scott Schubr, Luminary Oddities LLC.

Build with a LaTeX installation containing amsmath, amssymb, amsthm,
geometry and hyperref, for example:

  tectonic main.tex

This produces main.pdf. Equivalent pdflatex builds may require two runs
to resolve cross-references. Build output bytes can vary with compiler
and metadata; the supplied PDF's identity is given in MANIFEST.sha256.
