Degree-dependent minimax laws for Gaussian factorial moments
Scott Schubr, Luminary Oddities

main.pdf is the manuscript. main.tex is its complete editable source.
The paper proves uniform minimax resource orders and complete endpoint
classifications for the centered single-mode Gaussian factorial-moment
hierarchy, proves the exact growing-degree quantum critical risk, identifies
the degree-one exception, and gives a rigorous obstruction to a universal
critical-risk curve across degrees.

Build with Python 3 and Tectonic:
python build.py --engine tectonic --output-dir build

Run finite exact algebra controls with Python 3 (standard library only):
  python verify_hierarchy.py
  python -O verify_hierarchy.py
  python verify_global_upper.py
  python -O verify_global_upper.py

Both programs print JSON and write no files. The first checks inverse normal
ordering, moment bounds, adjacent Wick coefficients, sensitivity bounds,
relative-loss pair algebra, Poisson factorial variances, and the exactly
matched resource scales in the worked comparison. The manuscript proves
the all-parameter probability, minimax and asymptotic results. The second
program independently enumerates finite Wick contractions and checks the
physical rank-one majorant and sphere-sum bound, including pure boundaries.
